Our finish of choice is refined Beeswax
A superior blend of natural waxes that nourish and feed the wood whilst adding a smooth wax finish. The traditional paste formulation is applied by cloth and then buffed to create a natural, beautiful lustre.
Table Top Colour Options
Please take note that the colours you see on your screen may not be quite how they appear in reality. As well as the contrast of your screen, the timber itself will naturally vary in its composition and this will affect the tone of the finish
Table Top Care Advice
We hope you enjoy your beautiful solid wood furniture for many years! Our tables are built to last and should need minimal maintenance.
We recommend using a damp (not wet) cloth or mild cleaner to wipe the tabletops. Strong cleaners may break down the finish over time so should be avoided. Do not allow food or liquids to sit on the surface for long periods of time.
Contact with hot objects such as pots and pans may tarnish the finish and as such is not advised.
The hard wood table top is durable and will stand up to the general rigors of daily life, but please bear in mind that like any timber it is susceptible to dents and scratches, but this will only add to the rustic aesthetic and charm!
